HOW MUCH OF SLEEP IS IMPORTANT FOR PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE BRAIN AND BODY?

Sleep requirements differ from person to person based on age, health, and workload. Standard sleep cycle must long for 8 hours for adults to function their best. On the other hand, infants require more sleep than that. Children and teens need at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep to maintain focus and participate in both outdoor and indoor activities. Older people need at least 7 hours of sleep shunning the notion that says that there is a decrease in sleep with age.
